Coffee, cardamom, and breakfast worth getting up for.

A small room on Bell Lane. Rotating single origins on espresso, Arabic qahwa made properly, and a breakfast menu that owes more to Beirut than to London.

Who we are

Two people, one espresso machine, since 2021.

Rana grew up with a rakwa on the stove every morning in Tripoli. Sam spent eight years pulling shots in Melbourne. Qahwa & Co is what happens when those two habits share a counter.

We roast nothing ourselves. We buy from three roasters we actually know, rotate the espresso every few weeks, and tell you what is in the hopper if you ask.

What people say

The cardamom latte is the only reason I get off at Liverpool Street instead of London Bridge. Been coming for two years.

Asked about the espresso and got a five-minute answer I did not entirely follow, but the coffee was genuinely excellent and that is the point.

Best shakshuka in E1 and I have made it my business to check. Get there before eleven at the weekend.
