Who these terms are between

These terms are between you (the client) and M4B1 For Computer Systems & Communication Equipment Software Design, trading as M4B1, of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What the setup fee covers

• Writing the pages, based on what you supply and the questions we ask.
• Designing and building the site, up to the number of pages in the plan you chose.
• Two rounds of changes before the site goes live. A round is one consolidated list from you, not a series of individual messages.
• Setting up hosting and the SSL certificate, and pointing your domain at the site.
• Putting the site live and checking it works.

It does not cover photography, videography, logo design, copy in a language other than the one quoted, content migration from a large existing site, or integration with third-party systems. Any of those can be quoted separately. The domain name is not covered either: you buy it in your own name and pay the registrar directly, because what a domain costs depends entirely on the name you want. We tell you what to buy and configure it at no charge.

A content change means editing text, a price, a photograph, opening hours, a menu item or a team member. Unused changes do not roll over into the following month.

A new page, a new form, a structural change or a redesign is not a content change. Those are quoted hourly and we tell you the number before starting. No work outside the monthly fee is ever carried out without you agreeing to a figure first.

Speed, and what can undo it

Every site is built to pass Google’s Core Web Vitals on real visits, not just in a test: Largest Contentful Paint under 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint under 200 milliseconds, and Cumulative Layout Shift under 0.1. Those are Google’s own thresholds for a good experience, and they are measured on your actual visitors rather than on a score we can screenshot.

We do not promise a particular PageSpeed Insights number. That score moves between runs on an unchanged page, and Google does not rank on it — it ranks on the field measurements above. Quoting a number that moves would be quoting something neither of us controls.

One thing reliably undoes all of it, and it is not the site: third-party scripts. An advertising pixel, a chat widget, a booking embed or a tag manager added after launch can each cost more than everything the build saved. We will add any of them if you ask, and we will tell you what it costs first — but a page carrying third-party scripts we did not put there is outside the thresholds above.

What you need to provide

The seven-day build time runs from the point we have what we need: your content, photographs, menu or price list, and answers to the questions we send. If those arrive in stages, the clock starts when the last of them does.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us — photographs, logos, text and any material belonging to somebody else. We rely on that, and we are not responsible for a claim arising from material you supplied.

Who owns what

• You own the domain. You buy it yourself, in your name or your business’s name, never ours, and it stays yours whatever happens to this arrangement.
• You own your content: your text, photographs, menus, prices and logo.
• You own the site files once the setup fee is paid in full, and you can take them elsewhere at any point.
• We keep the right to show the finished site as an example of our work, and to describe the project publicly. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will not.
• Third-party components — the open-source framework the site is built with, and any fonts — remain under their own licences, which permit this use.

Payment

• For our first clients, nothing is due until the site is built and you have approved it. The setup fee falls due on approval, and the site goes live on your domain once the payment clears. Until then it stays on a private preview link.
• If seven days pass after we send the review link without a reply from you, the site counts as approved.
• That introductory arrangement is not permanent. Otherwise the setup fee is split in two: half before work starts, half when the site goes live.
• The monthly fee is billed monthly in advance, starting the month the site goes live.
• Invoices are payable within 14 days.
• Payment is by bank transfer, by Wise, or by card through a payment link.
• Invoices are issued in US dollars unless you ask for UAE dirhams.
• UAE clients are invoiced with VAT at the applicable rate. The treatment of services supplied outside the UAE is confirmed with our accountant and shown on the invoice.

If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue we will contact you before doing anything else. We will not take a live site offline without written notice and a reasonable opportunity to settle.

Cancelling

There is no minimum term. Either of us can end the monthly arrangement with one month’s written notice.

On cancellation we export the site files and hand them to you and help you move to another host. Your domain is already registered to you and is unaffected. That handover is included and is not charged for. Any monthly fee already paid for the notice period is not refunded, and any work already done is payable.

If you cancel during a build under the introductory arrangement above, nothing is payable and nothing is handed over — you have paid nothing and the unapproved site stays with us. If you cancel during a build on the split arrangement, the first half of the setup fee is not refunded and you receive whatever has been built by that point.

What we do not do

We build and maintain marketing websites. We do not build online shops with payments, booking systems that take money, customer logins, or mobile applications. We do not run advertising campaigns and we do not guarantee search rankings, because nobody can.

If your project needs any of those, we will tell you in the first reply rather than take a deposit and discover it later.

Availability and limits of liability

We use established hosting providers and monitor uptime, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee, and no small hosting arrangement honestly can. If the site goes down we are notified automatically and we fix it.

Our total liability in connection with the work is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in your own country, this does not remove protections you have there that cannot be set aside by agreement.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. For existing clients, the terms that applied when you signed up continue to apply until you are told otherwise with a month’s notice.
